An energy company built for the storage era
Netra started with a simple conviction: the clean electricity Europe already produces is worth little if it can't be used at the right moment. We set out to build the storage that closes that gap, and to run it intelligently for the long run.
Today we are an independent developer active in France and Switzerland. We finance, construct, and operate our own battery projects, pairing proven hardware with smart control software that decides precisely when to charge and discharge to get the most out of every cycle.
Why we exist
Clean power is abundant. Usable power isn't
Every year Europe adds more solar and wind, and every year more of that energy goes to waste. It arrives when demand is low and disappears when demand is high. Networks strain, prices swing, and operators keep gas plants on standby to cover the shortfall.
We built Netra to close that gap for good. By financing storage at scale and dispatching it with data-driven software, we let renewable electricity shift to the hours that actually matter. That cuts waste, eases pressure on the network, and pushes fossil backup off the system.
